"Ya look a little ... stiff."

WAX FIGURES.
They can be fun and a little unsettling!
While this post is a little on the GPOY* side, I am here to remind you that er- taking pictures is fun?
And that if you ever become famous enough, you will be made into a wax figure for random people to delight in and photo-bomb you. C'est la vie.

Lady Di wax figures are my favourite. I am always astounded by her height! As you can see, I'm a little on the short side.

That's Muhammad Ali's chest. Grrr.
Speaking of Ali- did anyone else tear up when he was at the London Olympics' Opening Ceremony? I sure did.

My sister and my camera don't go well together.

Out of focus or shaky- those are her two 'modes'.

That same day we found out we were going to Laos for the weekend.
I need not to tell you how excited I was- and, in retrospect, what a beautiful place it is.

Tune in for that adventure *wink*
Stay classy!

* I tend to refrain from posting pictures of any of my family members to respect their privacy. I'll do it every now and then though...

  3. Ahh, so fun! I love Madame Tussaud's, I went to the one in New York in 2003. Sadly that was *the* year Pirates of the Caribbean came out, and I don't think they had any pre-Pirates Johnny Depps so I didn't get to snap our ~wedding photo~. The Brad Pitt, too, was during his unkempt, long-hair days and I wasn't a fan, but all the same I remember one of the women who worked there saying he had so many finger and lip prints on him by the end of the day that they always had to clean him up after closing. ...Yeah. I think the only model I was daring enough to really "pose" with was Frank Sinatra, because I was so darn excited!
